Are You Playing With
Fire
When It Comes To Your Kitchen Exhaust System?
|

|
During Estimates we don't just glance at your restaurant kitchen
exhaust system and then throw you a piece of paper with a price on it.
Our Estimates include a full system inspection with digital
photography, and mapping of the exhaust system which helps in many
ways.
It tells us how to price your particular system for cleaning since
all hood systems are not created equal. It also gives us the chance to
help our customers with any findings of deficiencies they may
unknowingly have or recommended service that is needed in or around
their kitchen exhaust system during the estimate. We don't just clean
our customers restaurant & industrial hood exhaust systems, we also
want them to be lifelong valued customers. Helping our customers with
recommendations of service and finding of deficiencies that could lead
to a fire or closure by a health department or fire marshal hurts
everyone relying on an operational establishment. This includes our
restaurant owners own customers who rely on these establishment to be
open as we at Michigan Exhaust Cleaning also rely on our customers to
stay operational.
These deficiencies or recommendations could be small like needing
hinges for particular fans to keep them from being damaged during the
cleaning process when they have to be opened, or keeping the roof from
having punctures from fans resting on the roof that don't have hinges
during the cleaning.
These deficiencies could be large and just help save a restaurant
from some bad misfortune in the future. Example of large deficiencies
would be leaking grease from ductwork into the ceiling, shifted broken
ductwork, missing access panels, fans needing grease boxes, or roofs
needing grease containment from overflowing fan grease boxes or grease
leaking from fans. These deficiencies could lead to a leaking roof
from grease deteriorating the roof, or ductwork leaking into ceilings
or other places which could lead to a fire hazard if the worst were to
happen, and the ductwork wasn't able to contain the fire as designed
to do.
