Restaurant Exhaust Cleaning Contractor Negligence #4

This particular customer was getting what is called the bucket wash. The contractor did a great job cleaning the hood itself with a bucket and rag, but neglected the rest of the exhaust system. Customers trust the contractor to know what they were doing. If the customer had been educated they would have known the proper procedure for cleaning the system

These are the fan blades that have not been cleaned. The customer informed us that the prior contractor never went on the roof to clean the fan or ductwork. Once again the customer never knew what the procedure should have been for cleaning the system, and trusted the contractor.

This is the ductwork after removal of the fan.

As you can see this ductwork has never been

cleaned, and will now have to be scraped to

remove the grease (Fuel), and clean the entire

restaurant exhaust system the proper way.
